The Type 99
The The Type 99 light machine gun (九九式軽機関銃 Kyūkyū-shiki Kei-kikanjū) (Not to be confused with the Type 99 Ariska Rifle) was a machine gun used by the Japanese in WWII.
Usage by the Japanese[]
This is one of the more commonplace weapons of the series, and its most notable appearences were in the partially destroyed building in the Peleliu airfield and the machine gun pillboxes of Iwo Jima.
