A DC-3

The Douglas DC-3 or Dakota is an American fixed-wing, propeller-driven aircraft whose speed and range revolutionized air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Because of its lasting impact on the airline industry and World War II it is generally regarded as one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made. Many DC-3s are still used to this day in all parts of the world.

Usage by the MarinesEdit

It is only seen in the end of the episode Melbourne. It was used to fly John Basilone back to the States to start his war bonds tour.
